Just download and install the software, choose the language of wiki you wanna download, and select if you need images or not. It'd show the size of download (only text). Once you've downloaded it all, it'd work just like normal wiki...indeed, you get search recommendations! And just to remind you, if you plan on getting all the images from e.wikipedia.org , that is over 75+ GB (the info is from 2007).
